Kite Night

Where: Beach Access #39, Bald Head Island
Cost: Free

Go fly a kite with the whole family! Coastal Urge will have all sorts of colorful kites for kids and adults to come and fly, from single line giant flying fish to dual line kiteboarding trainer kites.

Saturday, May 29th

SUP Demo Days

When: 12:00pm to 3:00pm
Where: Beach Access #39, Bald Head Island
Cost: Free

Come experience standup paddleboarding, the fastest growing water sport ion the world. One of Coastal Urge’s experienced coaches will teach you all the basics and have you walking on water! Bring the entire family and join us in the evening for a fun race with SUP Race Club.

SUP Race Club

When: 5:00pm
Where: Coastal Urge Boardroom (86 Keelson Row in Harbor)
Cost: $20.00

Join us for a fun paddleboard race around Bald Head Creek. Everyone is welcome, we encourage the whole family to join us. Waterman’s Retreat Movie Night

Enjoy outdoor movies of some of the most respected watermen and women in the world indulging themselves in water sports and their travels from around the world. Bring the entire family. For our first Waterman’s Retreat Movie Night, we will be enjoying “A Brokedown Melody”.

A Brokedown Melody, directed by Chris Malloy, takes us on a journey through Jamaica, Hawaii, Indonesia, Tahiti, South America and Mexico, where waves are plentiful and crowds are extremely hard to find, which

in no way is a bad thing. This surfing movie follows a tribe of surfers and they’re journey and experiences while they surf insanely good waves on all sorts of boards, and the stoke they get when they pass it down on to the next generation.
